TSG Consulting highlights challenges of navigating US biostimulants regulation at the Biostimulants World Congress
Navigating plant biostimulant regulations in both Europe and the USA can be challenging. While the EU has recently published fertilizer regulation (EC) No. 2019/1009, which includes a definition of and regulatory pathway for biostimulants, the US does not have any specific federal regulations. TSG Consulting be will on hand to help companies navigate the regulations at Booth #89 at the Biostimulants World Congress, which starts today in Barcelona, Spain. Hard copies of TSG’s free paper Biostimulants: Navigating the United States regulatory landscape will also be available for companies looking to sell their products on the US market.
“Without a recognized definition in the US, the path to market for biostimulants is challenging,” says TSG’s Vice President of Business Development Dave Rottjakob. “The absence of specific federal regulations means that biostimulants need to ‘fit’ into the existing regulatory landscape. The challenge is amplified by each state having its own set of rules and regulations for each category of product, as well as uncertainty introduced by current regulatory initiatives. Staying up-to-date on this rapidly evolving area can be a daunting task for both companies and individuals. However, TSG can help remove the complexity and provide strategic guidance and assistance in preparing and submitting registrations.”
The Biostimulants World Congress takes place from November 18-21, 2019. Justo Giner, Samuel Poidevin, Dave Rottjakob and Daryl Thomas will be available at TSG Consulting’s booth (#89). Please email [email protected] to arrange a meeting with the team.
