Specializing in REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) and CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging), all three previously worked at the Health & Safety Executive’s (HSE) Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD). Richard and Mike both have deep enforcement experience, whilst Natasha excels at helping companies understand how the regulations apply to them.

Richard and Mike have both joined as Senior REACH and CLP Consultants, helping clients meet their obligations under REACH and CLP.

Immediately prior to joining TSG, Richard was Principal Inspector at the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), where he created and led the Enforcement Team in the Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD). Richard had responsibility for the enforcement of REACH, CLP, PIC (Prior Informed Consent), biocides and plant protection products legislation across Great Britain. He is also a former UK representative and Chair of the ECHA Enforcement Forum. Richard has a degree in law, a post-graduate diploma in occupational health and safety regulation, and is a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Likewise, Mike was a member of the Enforcement Team at CRD prior to joining TSG. As a Senior Enforcement Officer, Mike enforced chemical supply chain legislation, providing enforcement policy advice and strategy to industry both in the UK and EU, as well as training to fellow regulators. He has also worked on the HSE helpdesks for Biocides and REACH; and has represented the UK on several ECHA Committees such as Helpnet and the Enforcement Forum. Mike has a BSc in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Analytical Science.

Natasha has joined as Chemicals and REACH Consultant, responsible for managing and supporting REACH consortia. Immediately prior to joining TSG, Natasha worked in the HSE’s REACH & CLP team, notably on the helpdesk advising stakeholders on EU and UK regulations. Natasha started her career as a Regulatory Chemist working on plant protection products at CRD, then spent 18 months working in industry on a global legal entity restructuring project where she was responsible for the development and execution of regulatory strategies in markets across the globe. Natasha has an integrated Master’s degree in Chemistry.
