CADDY (computer aided dossier and data supply) is an electronic format used for the submission, review and archiving of plant protection dossiers in Germany. Although only mandatory in Germany and the EU Northern Zone, this format is accepted across Europe for all active substance and product submissions in the plant protection sector. Using this format when approving an active substance or registering a product reduces the time and cost associated with generating more than one dossier for all European submissions.
