Chaired by Managing Director of TSG North America, Abigail Wacek, and delivered by Principal Regulatory Consultant, Shannon Bryant-Spas and Senior Regulatory Consultant, Pete Stevenson, you will gain an insight into new pet food label modernization regulations.
In 2023, the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) adopted guidelines for Pet Food Label Modernization (PFLM), which are being rolled out in the states over the next six years. The PFLM focuses on four areas including: intended use, storage and handling, nutritional information, and ingredients. The New Model Pet Food and Speciality Pet Food Regulations update the requirements for pet food labelling and aim to provide information in a clear, meaningful way that is easy for consumers to understand.
Shannon Bryant-Spas and Pete Stevenson will guide you through the key changes to the labelling requirements. They will also share their experience, updating you on where they have seen progress in implementation and provide recommendations on strategies to implement these updates.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch with the team at [email protected].
