Erin will be speaking alongside Anita Pease, a representative from the EPA. Their joint talk will address the myth that preservatives are not tested nor regulated in the US. Erin and Anita will outline how preservatives are regulated through the EPA via TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) and FIFRA, as well as cover hazard vs. risk analysis for data submissions and approval of preservatives at the federal and state level.
