HSE – work on active substance, technical equivalence and MRL dossiers for pesticides during the transition period
The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced that it can undertake evaluation work during the transition period to help companies prepare for decisions under the post transition period GB regulatory regime.
HSE will provide these evaluation services under section 1(1) of the Agriculture Act 1986. Under these arrangements, HSE can work on the assessment of dossiers and preparation of Draft Assessment Reports for active substances and Evaluation Reports/Reasoned Opinions for MRLs (Maximum Residue Levels) and import tolerances. Furthermore, HSE is able to take forward evaluation of active substance technical equivalence applications for GB decisions after the end of the transition period.
Companies interested in these services should contact HSE directly by email via the links below:
- To discuss active substance work
- To discuss MRLs, import tolerances and technical equivalence applications
