In the US we work on both a federal and a state level, and in Europe, we work at the EU level as well as the member state level. As an organization, we participate in industry bodies and associations both to steer policy and to remain abreast of the key regulatory developments facing our clients.

North America

• US Federal Expertise: Our federal regulatory and scientific experts provide strategic advice and representation in front of the US EPA and FDA, as well as registration and compliance assistance for FIFRA, TSCA, FFDCA and other regulatory acts. We provide support for regulatory issues involving pesticides, new chemicals or new uses, consumer products, food contact and ingredients, animal health, customs, hazardous materials and product defense. We also actively conduct due diligence audits for mergers and acquisitions, and compliance audits for FIFRA, TSCA, GMP, and GLP.
• US State Expertise: Our state regulatory and scientific experts provide guidance on registration, compliance and government affairs issues pertaining to all 50 states, District of Columbia and US territories, with specialties in the regulatory complexities of California, New York, Florida, Washington, and Hawaii. TSG has particular expertise in California’s regulatory and government affairs and is actively involved in Proposition 65, the “Green Chemistry” initiative, air and water quality, greenhouse gases (AB-32), toxic substances, ingredient disclosure, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and audits.
• Canada: We provide comprehensive pesticide registration support, including label development, data compensation and registration agent services.

Europe

Our regulatory and science teams provide strategic advice and product approval services in accordance with EU legislation. We work with key European regulatory bodies such as the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Chemical Agency (ECHA). We provide assistance with issues regarding biocides, plant protection, REACH, personal care products, food contact, general EU compliance and categorization, and Member State compliance. We have offices and local staff in many European countries including France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
