Plant protection expert Mike Carroll joins TSG

Dr Michael Carroll, a leading expert in agrochemical regulatory affairs has joined TSG Consulting as a Principal Consultant, enhancing TSG’s experienced plant protection team. Mike will provide strategic support and guidance to clients across Europe using his 35 years’ experience in the agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries working for Monsanto, Dow and Arysta in Belgium, USA, UK and Germany. He has a PhD in biochemistry.

Mike will help us to elevate our contribution to the plant protection industry focusing on major industry-wide challenges."

This latest appointment underlines TSG’s continued focus on providing scientific and regulatory support to the agrochemical and other industries. In July 2018, TSG opened a new European office in Paris, together with a number of strategic hires including Philippe Kuenemann, Business Director France and Senior Regulatory Consultants Vincent Bouguennec and Samuel Poidevin. Also joining in 2018 was Iain D.Watt who heads up the UK-based Plant Protection team. TSG’s Human Health and Environmental Science experts closely support the plant protection teams across Europe. Recent scientific hires in Human Health include: Steve Ruckman, Head; Colin Davies, Senior Toxicologist; Steve Buchanan, Senior Regulatory Chemist; Michelle Stevens, Risk Assessment Specialist; and Miriam Daniels, Senior Residues Consultant. Environmental Science specialists recently joining include: David Patterson, Principal - Environmental & Fate Modelling and Kate Brougham, Senior Ecotoxicology Consultant.
