TSG Hires Dr. Jamie Shetzline

Dr. Jamie Shetzline has joined TSG as a Regulatory Scientist. Dr. Shetzline specializes in analytical chemistry and the regulatory compliance of chemicals under the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and California’s Proposition 65. She also has experience with food contact substances (FCS) and medical devices requiring 510(k) submissions under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act). She assists companies with hazard classification and the development of safety data sheets (SDS) to properly communicate potential chemical risks and enhance worker safety.

Dr. Shetzline received her Ph. D. in Chemistry from Clemson University. Her graduate and post-doctoral research in fuel cell development and cost-effective solutions for testing the membrane exchange of protons has given her a deep understanding of electrotechnical materials, including fuel cells, polymer coatings, films, and lithium-ion batteries.
